Autumns in North Carolina are usually mild and beautiful, Brad and Carolyn’s November wedding was a great example. With an outdoor Historic Market Hall wedding ceremony on the cobblestone street, like downtown Raleigh has never seen before. Followed by an incredible dinner and wedding reception. Brad and Carolyn’s wedding day could not have flowed any better All thanks to a great wedding planner, wedding vendors, and wedding guest.
This is Part 1 of 2. Check out the wedding reception blog post soon.

Carolyn and her bridesmaids spread out their hair and makeup prep between at her apartment and then finishing at Market Hall. It’s always fun to watch the bride and bridesmaids interact with each other. Especially when the bride demands McDonalds french fries and a McFlurry. Kathy from A Shear Perfection Salon was great to work with! She worked on Carolyns makeup and hair quickly and with expertise.
Market Hall is a great venue for the bride and bridesmaids to be able to relax and have time to prepare for the big day.

The First Look
Before the ceremony Brad and Carolyn wanted to talk to each other with out really seeing each other. We had to come up with a unique location for this first look so all the guest wouldn’t see Carolyn. They were able to have a quick conversation moments before the ceremony near one of the stair cases at Market Hall.

Historic Market Hall Wedding Ceremony
As I stated before, there could not have been a better autumn day. With all the guest seated on the cobblestone street, Carolyns dad escorted her down the aisle. The breeze carried Carolyns veil beautifully during the wedding ceremony. Two great moments during the ceremony were the officiant forgetting to do the ring exchange and the dropping of the wedding ring. In the end it was a great ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

And Now The Rings
