– Tegran and Suzanne –
While planning your wedding, if you are looking for the elegance of a castle and a staircase for a grand entrance, then look no further than Barclay Villa. It is tucked away in the small town of Angier, NC not far from Raleigh. When meeting with Tegran and Suzanne for the first time and hearing their wedding day plans, I knew that no other venue would be able to contain the grandeur. Their Barclay Villa wedding was as elegant as it was fun. Tegran and Suzanne had a wonderful day with their friends and family; from the ceremony to the reception, their Barclay Villa wedding was perfect.

We will start off with the ladies. Suzanne told me that her wedding gown and veil were going to be the statement piece. She was not exaggerating at all. Designed by Berta Balilti, it was a couture ballgown with a royal train, topped off with an eighteen foot veil. The dress showed her style and set the elegance for the day. Her bridesmaids all played their roles and had fun doing it.

As much as Suzanne’s gown was a couture statement piece, Tegran’s suit was a classic example of distinction. Whether it was getting dressed, playing pool, or posing for formal portraits, he and his groomsmen exuded refinement while having fun.

The Ceremony
For the most part, the rest of the images in this blog will have some type of floral feature. Keep in mind, the brides bouquet, the floral arch of the ceremony, and the entire ball room are all set apart because of the floral designs by Fresh Affairs.
Their family and friends came from all over the world to celebrate Tegran and Suzanne’s intimate outdoor wedding ceremony. Guests were serenaded by Eryn Jones’ harp, guitar, and voice.

Barclay Villa Wedding Reception
After the ceremony, Suzanne and Tegran spent time together posing for portraits and then went to gaze upon their beautiful ballroom. The details at this wedding were second to none. Flowers hung from the chandeliers and giant centerpieces filled with candles lit the ballroom. Rocky Top Catering provided a delicious dinner and Cinda’s Creative Cakes created an amazing gilded cake. The toasts were some of the best I have heard in my 11 years of shooting weddings.

Once the dinner service was taken away, the toasts were given, and the cake had been devoured, there was nothing left to do but dance! Victor, from All Events DJ, kept the dance floor packed all night. I am not sure if there has ever been such a lively Barclay Villa wedding reception.
