– Lake O’ The Woods Plantation Bridal Portraits –
One of my favorite parts about living in North Carolina is all of the wonderful historic wedding venues. Don’t get me wrong I do love modern wedding venues and ballrooms, but it is hard to go wrong when you are shooting bridal portraits on the grounds of a pre-Civil War home. I had the great honor of shooting Sarah’s bridal portraits at Lake O’ the Woods Plantation, back in October. Her gown, the veil, and the house were all a perfect match.
When talking to Sarah about her bridal portraits she was worried about posing (like most brides), but with simple directions and taking a relaxed approach to the portraits, she really did an awesome job. Her wedding gown looked as if it was custom made for her. It couldn’t have been a better fit or a better color for the venue. first part of the bridal shoot we shot outside of the manor house.

– Indoors –
After spending the first part of our bridal shoot outside in the unbelievable weather. We moved indoors and used the great backdrops that the manor house offers.

These pictures are beyond beautiful, so Happy for my Nephew and Niece…..much Love to them both.
