Lake O’ The Woods Plantation Bridal Portraits –

One of my favorite parts about living in North Carolina, is all of the wonderful historic wedding venues. Don’t get me wrong I do love modern wedding venues and ballrooms, but it is hard to go wrong when you are shooting bridal portraits on the grounds of a pre Civl War home. I had the great honor of shooting Sarah’s┬ábridal portraits at Lake O’ the Woods Plantation.

When talking to Sarah about her bridal portraits she was worried about posing (like most brides), but with simple directions and taking a relaxed approach to the portraits, she really did an awesome job. Her wedding gown looked as if it was custom made for her. It couldn’t have been a better fit or a better color for the venue. first part of the bridal shoot we shot outside of the manor house.

– Indoors –

After spending the first part of our bridal shoot outside in the unbelievable weather. We moved indoors and used the great backdrops that the manor house offers.
